Richmond Man Killed in Lexington by Train

Sixty three year old Tony Burton Litten of Richmond was killed shortly after 1 Friday afternoon September 9th near the intersection of Southland Drive and Eastway Drive, when he was struck by a train. The engineer told police he tried to warn the man lying on the tracks.
Litten died from multiple blunt force trauma injuries. His death is being investigated as an accident, but his family thinks its far more suspicious. The family is afraid theyll never know the exact cause of death because of the extent of Littens injuries
Litten is the second person in a week to be killed by a train in Lexington. On Saturday, Kyle Ginnever, 22, a Bluegrass Community and Technical College student from Northern Kentucky, was hit and killed near the end of Burley Avenue, a dead-end street off Broadway.
